- Responsible to head entire product development of some of the company’s key accounts.
- Keep a sharp eye on the development cycle of your key accounts.
- Vital part of your day-to-day routine will involve product costings and working closely with US office to ensure timely delivery of accurate samples. It will also require proactive interaction with departments in Bahrain facility.
- This role requires you to be very organized with real understanding of the importance in detail and accuracy of samples that are being developed for each potential business.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Handling development of samples of each key account as per customer requirements.
- Should be able to calculate fabric consumptions or fabric widths keeping in view the products and loom efficiencies.
- have sharp knowledge of stitching techniques and processes along with fabric consumption calculations.
- Develop raw materials or procure them for sampling that adhere to the customer requirements.
- Liaise with foreign offices along with other departments for smooth developments of samples.
- New product development for market week with collaboration of US PD teams / designers.
- Monitoring T&A of each firm order on regular basis and finalize packaging development right on time.
- Should be able to source / calculate packaging materials and follow up with purchase team.
- Assist Manager Product Development in continuous process improvement projects.
- Think, develop ideas for better product development initiatives.
