Position Title: Senior RM - Corporate Banking
Reports to: EGM Business Banking
Location: Bahrain
Job purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for dealing with the high profile CFO's in large sophisticated corporates to review the current loan portfolios and give the corporate customers restructuring advice and recommendations for their business. In addition, they will be responsible for implementation of the approved Corporate Banking strategy, in line with the overall Bank strategy.
Key accountabilities
Achieve an overall annual sales budget as set at the beginning of the year and deal with large sophisticated corporates.
Responsibility for account management activities with respect to existing corporate clients including account planning, credit review, remedial management and business solicitation.
Review/analyse the Corporate Banking Department management accounts (comprising the balance sheet, income statement along with the budgeted figures) on monthly basis and positively address adverse variances with Head of Business Banking.
Maintain and enhance relationships with Government and other regulators.
Lead the Bank in complicated Syndicated / Club deals.
Lead the unit in deals related to Project Finance.
Monitor critical portfolio caps at required intervals and take prompt action in coordination with Credit Risk when required to uphold the quality of the portfolio.
Education and Qualifications
University graduate a holder Bachelor degree is a must, preferably with 15 - 20 years of relevant banking experience, preferably with at least 6 years at a senior managerial position in corporate banking with one of the major leading banks in the UK, US, France, Geneva, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong or Singapore.
Dealing with 5 - 10 Billion Dollars portfolios.
Experience in corporate product structuring.
Superior people relationship skills and awareness of risk management concept and practices.
