Carriage is a venture-funded GCC startup headquartered in Kuwait. We are a mobility and logistics technology platform that provides users with the best possible food delivery experience in the region. We are growing incredibly quickly in Kuwait, and plan to expand rapidly in the GCC/MENA region within the next months.
The Carriage General Manager is a unique opportunity to build up our business in Qatar, and grow it exponentially. You will build and lead the team to ensure exponential growth as well as the best possible service. This is a tough job- one that requires entrepreneurial capabilities, great talent, fantastic leadership skills, and creativity. You are developing from scratch a food delivery ecosystem for Carriage in Qatar. We’re looking for someone who has the operational proficiency, who can negotiate and bring out the best from our partner restaurants, and has the intellectual prowess and grit to start and oversee Carriage in Qatar.
The General Manager’s job includes among many other things:
• Laying the foundations for Carriage’s operations in Qatar
• Building teams composed of the highest talented individuals
• Developing and executing a comprehensive, well-defined launch, strategic, and marketing plan
• Acquiring new restaurant partners
• Setting targets and goals
• Setting and adhering to monthly and annual budgets
