- Prepares and initials Standard Risk Review and Offer Review Sheets (within defined Marketing Unit or geographical area)
- Writes an Offer Summary (with observations and suggestions) for acceptance or decline and submits entire File to the appropriate authority as per offer policy limits.
- Prices submission utilizing the available pricing tools and other data sources available.
- Negotiates position with Broker and/or cedants, looking to optimise pricing, coverage and conditions to maximise economic profit.
- Reviews final Offer Slip and Wording documents for accuracy.
- prepares Standard Risk Review/Statistics Sheets (within defined geographical area) after full analysis of existing terms against underwriting guidelines and reinsurance protections and initials Sheets.
- From various sources compiles and ensures updated business and statistical data including financial, economic and social structures on each cedent/broker as per designated market area.
- Assists and coordinates with Finance Department regarding production reports.
- Analyse variances in bound business, between written and signed lines.
