Early years or nursery teachers work in a preschool with children between the ages of two through five. Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing work schemes and lesson plans in line with the foundation stage. This involves organizing and developing the learning environment and resources in order to facilitate learning. Early years teachers foster the understanding, social and communication kills of the children. They develop relationships with parents or guardians to further support pupils. Early years teachers record observations and summarize the students achievements. They focus on optimum child development and preparation for a successful transition to primary school education.
