Be well-informed with a thorough knowledge of available products, concierge advice, promotions and events.
Promote promotions, events and guest surveys at every suitable opportunity.
Answer all telephone calls in a timely manner and address guest queries regarding reservations.
Responsible for ensuring cloakroom duties are performed effectively.
Responsible for the suitable allocation of tables to guests as required and according to the daily reservations.
Escort guests to their allocated table or to the bar.
Demonstrate the highest standard of personal presentation.
Clean menus before and after service; Ensure a sufficient supply of menus are in circulation and in an acceptable condition.
Ensure a high standard of service is maintained at all times, anticipating guests’ needs.
Ensure a clean, presentable and organized work area at all times.
Follow all instructions as directed by management.
Operate in accordance with SOP at all times.
