Developing SQL queries and writing procedures for HR & Payroll application to interface with SQL database, as well as writing and testing code.
Development often consists of designing tables, storing procedures, views and functions.
You will work with project managers, businesses owners, analyst teams and clients, building prototypes, modules and methods to validate system requirements. You will also document code, provide progress reports, and perform code review and peer feedback.
• SQL Server 2008 R2 (and more current) experience.
• T-SQL and SQL programming (queries, triggers, views, Stored Procedures, etc...)
• Experience with CRUD (Create, Read. Update & Delete) data cycles
• Ability to perform database/data manipulation to generate required result sets
• Experience with ASP.NET a PLUS (for custom coding)
• Ability to dig in and understand current processes and make appropriate recommendations for changes.
• Ability to work independently, but also with other personnel such as Project Managers, Business Analysts and Composition Developers.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance of standards and conventions in developing programs.
• Resolve and troubleshoot complex issues
• Maintain and manage all versions of data models for production, testing and developing databases.
