JOB PURPOSE
1. Being part of a production team that builds up vacuum equipment with applications in de industrial cleaning, the primary role of the Sr. Hydraulics/Pneumatics Technician is to build up Hydraulic & Pneumatic components based on prescribed quality instructions & diagrams in compliance with a strict production planning
2. Provide servicing to existing hydraulic/pneumatic systems
3. Increase body build experience to wider area’s
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities (Department related)
Electrical truck body & machinery assembly / installation
1.Being part of the assembly team, with other body builders in different technical area’s, you will assemble vacuum equipment towards it’s final completion stage according a strict production planning.
2. Mounting, installation, connection, adjustment & testing of Hydraulic & Pneumatic components following prescribed technical instructions: hydraulic/pneumatic code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications; onto new body components and truck chassis drive line. Components like hydraulic hoses, hydraulic tubes, pneumatic hoses, pneumatic tubes, hydraulic mono-block directional control valve, hydro motor, hydraulic cylinder, filters, gauges, instruments, hydraulic driven air compressor, electromechanical pneumatic switches, pneumatic control box, pneumatic valves, and other

Components like hydraulic hoses, hydraulic tubes, pneumatic hoses, pneumatic tubes, hydraulic mono-block directional control valve, hydro motor, hydraulic cylinder, filters, gauges, instruments, hydraulic driven air compressor, electromechanical pneumatic switches, pneumatic control box, pneumatic valves, and other hydraulic/pneumatic parts & hydraulic/pneumatic devices.
3. Calculate forces and flow rates of systems and specify components
4. Perform accurate measurements & calibration to ensure high quality installation & component performance.
5. Diagnoses malfunctioning on hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, using test equipment and repairs/replaces damaged or broken parts.
6. Register & report to supervisor the production progress, quality non-conformities (defects, interventions…) & improvement suggestions
7. Promote a safe and efficient working culture within the workshop
8. Control the job place housekeeping after each task and at the end of each working shift
9. Support R&D and Engineering to create new ideas on solutions and new product concepts for pressure systems.
Secondary Responsibilities (additional responsibilities assigned by the Production Supervisor / management)
Fleet Servicing Support
1. Perform hydraulic/pneumatic maintenance and repair activities on certain company vehicles
2. Support the Service department
Mechanic_Electric truck body & machinery assembly / installation
1. Perform beyond own specialism and knowledge, the truck body build in other specialty area’s likewise Mechanic_Electric to become more multifuctional in time
