We are looking for an amazing intern to work as the right hand to the head of marketing and social media. We want an enthusiastic, organized person to collaborate and help run all social media platforms, and marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for putting ideas into motion, interacting with customers and executing all media! This is a 3 month internship with the opportunity to be hired full time!
Main Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing social media strategies for sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to gain exposure for Shabaka TV.
• Help maintain presence on all social media platforms for Shabaka TV, as well as some clients.
• Develop new & innovative content.
• Organize and maintain social media calendar.
• Research, and track prospective media, influential bloggers, and celebrities to issue product samples for increased brand exposure.
• Aid with photography for social media and press.
• Solid writing skills and has an interest in creative writing.
• Conduct media outreach and find new PR sources.
• Assist with media alerts and press releases.
• Compile press clippings.
• Aiding in writing and copy-editing press releases, pitches, and other PR collateral.
• Building media lists.
