One of the leading banks in Bahrain is looking for a Head of Operations to join their team.
Title : Head of Operations
Location : Bahrain
Duration : 6 months contract (Extendable)
Reports to : Chief Operating Officer
Key Responsibilities
Head of Operations will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of various operational areas in support of the Bank's strategies, objectives and policies in order to improve operational procedures.
Will be reporting to COO(Chief Operating Officer) in developing an operating framework and improved processes and procedures across all areas of the retail, corporate and treasury division.
Evaluates staff performance & ensures that his staff are cross-trained by job rotations.
Head of Operations needs to ensure that all departments within the Operations Division conduct activities within the prescribed policy & procedure guidelines and meet annual targets and objectives.
Qualifications
15-20 years of experience in Banking Operations (Retail, Business, Commercial Corporate and Institutional).
Ability to meet deadlines by being flexible, adaptable and using excellent planning and skills.
Experience in change management and process improvement. Detailed knowledge of Banking procedures and policy principles at all levels.
Thorough knowledge of Operational routine in Banks. Extensive knowledge in treasury and corporate operations.
Ability to plan & prepare the strategy and annual budget requirements for the operational environment.
Strong planning, organisational and time management abilities.
