Description
The role of Projects and Maintenance Manager will have the following primary responsibilities:
- Assure the Safety of Department /Contracting Staff through compliance with Occupational Safety & Health regulations and maintain the attitude that all accidents are preventable & ensure full compliance towards QMS, EMS & HSSE standard requirements.- Good Knowledge of elevated safety work, Confined space entry, LOTO and other similar hot work procedures.- Responsible for the safety of Contractors and to ensure compliance to HSSE standards during the entire phases of projects.- Qualify contractors and keep a database of all type of project works- Plan and Execute projects within given time frame and budgets utilizing project methodology.- Close the projects with proper documentation, communication with stakeholders.- Ensure a harmonious working atmosphere in the plant and among the contract workmen.- Initiate new ideas, to increase the productivity thus reducing operational cost.Ensure Maintenance dep aligned with company objectives.- Conduct RC investigation for major breakdown and repeated cases of breakdown.- Initiate Reliability engineering in maintenance, RC analysis of major breakdown and put in controls.- Attend, monitor and place control on breakdown of all plant equipment (Blending, Filling, Packaging and Laboratory)- Assure the implementation and compliance of an effective Preventive Maintenance Plan, Test and inspection and equipment maintenance. Coordinate with Lab and other areas of operation for similar requirement.- Indentify, develop and implement training programs to Maintenance & project Team.- Monitor and control monthly maintenance spending.- Monitor and provide control programs for Utility KPI- Keep the General Manager (Ops) appraised of all activities in timely manner.
Shared Responsibilities
- Compliance to HSSE norms and standards- Primary service provider of internal customers for the keeping smooth operations.- Participate in the preparation of operating & emergency procedure.- Responsible for vendor rating and evaluation of maintenance / projects vendors/suppliers.- Coordinate engineering changes of the equipment including reliability to internal customers.- Implementation of budget control initiatives.- Coordination with external government agencies for company related operational matters
Profile
For the role of Projects and Maintenance Manager my client is looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Essential
- Degree in Engineering(Electrical/Mechanical).- 10 years of experience in Engineering / Projects and Maintenance.- Good command of English Language.- Excellent command of computer application literacy i.e. MS Office…etc- Good knowledge of Project Management.- Good Knowledge of Plant processes & Overall Equipment Effectiveness.- Good Knowledge of Plant Maintenance, TPM, Asset Utilisation
Desirable
- MBA- PMP Certification / Six Sigma greenbelt certification- Use of primavera or any such application for tracking projects- Worked in chemical process plant/LOBP- Implemented budget control initiative- Coordinated with Free zone / Govt for approval- Knowledge of automation in process- Knowledge of Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, HSSE.
