Our client, one of the leading information and communication technology enabled M2M automation and control solution providers is currently recruiting for an Chief Information Officer.
Job Purpose
Responsible for setting up information technology directions of the company, working directly with the Executive Chairman/CEO. Owning and enhancing the effective use of information assets of the company, facilitating innovation, implementing new technologies, developing budgets, adopting business processes and technologies to deliver desired results. Supervising operations team in managing all information technology components within the organizations.
Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:
• Develop and execute overall information Technology Strategy of the Organization
• Facilitate decision-making by enabling right information at the right by implementation appropriate technology solutions
• Establishing and reviewing key information priorities and translating them into a comprehensive information technology roadmap
• Facilitating innovation
• Leading teams responsible for network, data center, applications and other information assets of the company
• Working closely with all departments /stakeholders to understand requirements, and prioritizing those requirements to deliver effective solutions
• Managing vendors, and other solution provides -including negotiation of contracts
• Ensuring high quality service delivery
• Anticipate trends in the market place with regard to technology and ensure that the business navigates these trends through expert guidance and proper strategic IT planning that is aligned to the corporate strategy of the organization.
• Driving or heading up crucial IT projects which are essential to the strategic and operational objectives of the Client
• Structuring IT organization to deliver desired results
• Leading large information technology teams
