Our client a reputable IT and Technology company is currently recruiting for an Senior Operations Manager The Role Working within our growing organization, you shall be responsible for the overall development on the Sales and Operations fronts. This position is for a highly experienced and talented professional to assist the Company reach greater heights. This is a key role within the Company which requires an innovative and creative individual with the ability to properly qualify clients’ needs and convert those into successful business opportunities for the Company. The position shall involve working with the management team, contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, including policies and practices. This position shall be required to constantly interact with the Directors. Ideally the right candidate shall have gained a variety of experience within the audio visual or IT industry in the areas of Sales, Marketing & Operations. The role is located in United Arab Emirates. Ideally the successful candidate would be available for an immediate start. The following functions shall be handled, for coordination & supervision, under the role: • SALES & MARKETING • PRE-SALES ACTIVITIES • PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS • TECHNICAL INSTALLATIONS • POST-SALES CUSTOMER SUPPORT • OPERATIONAL STRATEGIZING & MANAGEMENT • THIRD PARTY RELATIONSHIP BUILDING Responsibilities • Accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff. • Accomplish marketing and sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. • Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. • Determine annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the team; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; reviewing the pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand. • Accomplish sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans. • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share. • Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; coordinating with the management for introduction of new product lines. • Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. • Coordinate & monitor activities of departments concerned with the procurement, pricing, and distribution of products. • Oversee activities directly related to installing products and/or providing services.
