Our client, a multinational IT company is currently seeking to recruit Project Manager, IoE for Cities SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Project Manager, IoE for Cities reports to Global Head of PMO, IoE for Cities and under his guidance ensures that all the PMO methodology activities are set to the IoT World forum activities and are delivered in compliance to the overall plan and its timelines. It entitles, local culture and language knowledge as well as strong negotiation skill set. The extended team that will surround the IoE Project Manager aims to accelerate cross-functional activities and key IoT solution deployments that address specific value proposition that will enable existing partners to evolve in liaison with the company in the already active market place. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Company’s sales and internal processes and have experience in large cross-functional system releases. Must possess advanced influencing and project management skills as well as PMI methodologies knowledge. He or She also must be able to translate high-level business strategy into appropriate action items as well as communicate project status and impact into key business needs for executive-level discussion. PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: This experienced business and project manager will be responsible to manage multiple tracks and orchestrate a local and virtual team. Specific responsibilities include: • Help shape worldwide lighthouse/IoT WF deployment, according to IoE for Cities PMO methodologies • Develop forms and records to document project activities as well as needed reporting where applicable • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented a nd secured • Keep project plan, dashboards and performance indicators updated over time. • Manage weekly reporting for all projects and tasks according to each city project and follows up with specific stakeholders where applicable • Change management • Establishes a weekly communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project • Monitor all budgeted project expenditures, secure all funds are spent and turn in high RoI • Receive the draft version of the Project Agreements (PA) • Use the PA to detail the project plan (tasks, activities, work packages, timeline, resources and milestones for Cisco and partners) Ensure PA is detailed into HLD and LLD of Company’s and partners • Ensuring the PA is kept up-to-date in case of design changes • Documentation for funding request (Value at Stake /economic analysis / estimation of the sales opportunity in the context of the project) • Contribution to PA for project closure (evaluation & analysis) • Management • Resource management, Company'-internal if required • Project-internal reporting and communication • Reporting to Company’s-internal Governance • Escalation of issues to the appropriate directions • Budget management & control • Order management (ordering, controlling, tracking) ENVIRONMENT/CULTURE: Very dynamic and ever-changing environment. Collaboration with multiple cross-functional, theater and WW groups within the organization and requires flexible support to the business as conditions dictate. The ideal candidate needs to show a very positive and flexible attitude towards constant change.
