Define, direct, supervise, control and coordinate all activities within the Department.
Recruit, train, appraise, motivate and manage staffs of the Department.
Supervise accounting and reporting (internally + Turkey head-office).
Manage the general ledger accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics AX ).
Approve general payment list and accounting entries.
Review all accounts reconciliation.
Review cash forecasts.
Review monthly VAT returns.
Analyze discrepancies between actual figures and budgeted ones.
Prepare additional reports such as HFM reports, investment and WCR follow-ups.
Prepare local statutory accounts and liaise with local auditors for account analytical review.
Compute and submit local tax in coordination with Tax consultant.
Take part in the preparation of the yearly budget, the long term plan and the estimated & actual year end results.
Carry out regular audits, checks and controls.
Liaise with external auditors for books certification.
Responsible for bank reconciliation.
Handle relationships with banks authority.
Issue work control procedures.
