Job duties:
• Read and analyze project Bill of quantity, specifications and plans/drawings.
• Prepare an estimated bill of Quantity for design and build projects only.
• Analyze and validate an existing BOQ and note any differences.
• Coordinate with procurement department for the updated prices of materials.
• Coordinate with construction department in allocating required resources, and labor periodic wages for any potential project.
• Request quotes of special items/materials from suppliers for pricing purposes.
• Estimate the required time and cost of a potential project.
• Account for potential risks in pricing.
• Prepare an initial bid package for management final review.
