• Generate high level designs for new VHF/UHF radio systems for industrial and petrochemical plants, both onshore and offshore.
• Utilize RF coverage software to perform coverage analysis of new radio links and coverage areas to determine optimum antenna locations, types and heights.
• Determine RF power requirements and predicted coverage reliability. Verify RF related site engineering drawings.
• Prepare testing and commissioning procedures and requirements for RF interference studies.
• Select radio equipment and products which comply with the client’s functional and commercial specifications.
• Generate detailed design drawings for installation and wiring of radio systems equipment, transmission lines and antennas in accordance .
• Perform site surveys of existing radio systems and record the data required to generate detailed design drawings for upgrades and additions.
• Generate detailed material take off lists of all materials and equipment included in the detail design of radio systems.
• Generate Scope of Work for the installation and wiring of radio systems.
• Generate data network drawings and deliverables list and site survey requirements for project proposals.
• Perform design criteria, system dimensioning, link budget and traffic analysis.
• Good knowledge of DMR & TETRA.
• Carry out optimization techniques (proper antenna selection for optimal horizontal and vertical performance, mechanical/electrical tilting, appropriate transmit power setting, antenna clearance, neighbor list analysis, etc. for optimal site/cluster performance.
• Support in the preparation of technical offers
