The Store Manager is responsible for maximizing sales and ensuring the effective operations of all store activities.He provides accurate sales leadership to employees and serves to project the company's philosophy and image through excellent customer service and strong visual presentation techniques. The Store Manager communicates and feeds back to the Sales and Operations Manager and the Brand Manager.

Store Operations:

1.Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, to include stock control, loss prevention, customer service, cashiering, visual presentation, and special sales activities as appropriate.

2.Supervise merchandise presentation and displays, initiate appropriate floor changes when necessary to make effective use of the sales area.

3.Respond to inquiries and investigations and resolve problems related to transactions handled by the store.

4.Serve as a liaison with other stores in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues

5.Adhere to all policies and procedures

6.Set sales target for each team member and motivate him/her to achieve it.

7.Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, vacations, breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees and shift rotations to ensure that all areas are adequately staffed, and that resources are available to meet performance objectives and deadlines.

8.Manage and follow-up replenishment and inventory updates of the store.

9.Complete and sign all company paperwork (attendance, daily sales reports, weekly feedback reports …etc).

10.Maintain a daily management log of performance measures including product presentations, sales & follow-up calls.

11.Submit a daily status report showing the results of follow-up, sales and prospecting activities.

12.Schedule and conduct staff meetings and take appropriate action when necessary.

13.Is responsible for the Loss Prevention procedures and consequently of the stock and merchandise available in stores.

Developing and Building Teams:

1.Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.

2.Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operations.

3.Delegate work equally and efficiently among team members.

4.Provide functional guidance, orientation, mentorship, and training to full time, part time and hourly staff performing related work within the store.

5.Direct staff in the development, analysis and preparation of reports.

6.Coach and provide career development advice to staff.

7.Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance appraisals.

8.Coordinate and monitor the work of the employees in relation to customers to ensure the overall achievement of established store objectives and quality-service standards set by the management.

Customer Service:

1.Approach, greet and offer assistance to customers and complete sales.

2.Demonstrate goods by explaining benefits and features,

3.Maintain consistent rapport with loyal customers and develop new opportunities in order to maximize sales.

4.Collect information on each customer who calls or visits the store.

5.Maintain strong knowledge base of all the store items and the competitors products (pricing, new models, campaigns, store activities, outdoors activities.

6.Participate in special projects/campaigns, promotions in or outside the showroom, as required.

7.Communicate stock replenishment needs to the Sales and Merchandising departments.

8.Maintain store premises and grounds in compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards.

9.Maintain a good and professional company and brand representation respecting the brand’s image and company standards.

10.Inform staff of any updates occurring from the head office during a management meeting and make sure that the team reads all brand and company newsletters.
