ABOUT THIS JOB
Great opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to be part of Baker Hughes' high achieving Human Resources team. Based in Muscat, you will take on the role of Business Partner for both our Oman and Yemen operations. This role offers a wide job scope and excellent career opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under minimal supervision, acts as a consultant to management in developing, implementing and coordinating policies and programs covering several or all of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee and labor relations, and personnel research.
Work with Centres of Excellence to oversee and ensure the delivery of various functions such as payroll, recruitment and onboarding of new hires, and visa processing, etc
Participates in policy development and implementation
Participates in cross-divisional HR teams.
Communicates HR related programs to managers and employees.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3 years general HR experience, with some of this experience in a large MNC (300+ employees)
Broad knowledge of Omani HR principles, practices, and procedures including local Government processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a teamplayer. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Oil and Gas experience is highly preferred
CIPD qualifications is also preferred, but not essential OTHER DETAILS
This position requires occassional travel (approximately once a quarter) and candidates must be able to travel unaccompanied
