Our client, a prominent Money Transfer and Currency Exchange company in Bahrain, is currently looking for a Group Chief Commercial Officer.
Role: Group Chief Commercial Officer
Reporting to: Group MD & CEO
Location: Bahrain
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the commercial direction of the Group's business, in terms of defining and aligning market segmentation, product positioning and distribution channels. Responsible
for the planning, development and execution of the Group's strategic alliances, product development, marketing and advertising initiatives across the operating countries.
Generate revenue by increasing sales through successful development, marketing and sales, of existing and new products, for the entire organisation, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, public relations and customer relationship management.
Provide clear leadership to the sales function. Encourage the development of the sales team and develop succession plans for key roles.
Develop, implement and supervise the Group's overall sales strategy and programs to maximise penetration of target segments.
Drive the Group's revenue aggressively to guarantee good profitability within the existing cost structure.
Supervise the Marketing strategy aimed at optimising market presence and accessibility of the brand, across all of the company's Operating countries. Develop segmentation, market intelligence, prospecting, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales team effectiveness, strategic planning, services units and revenue retention and growth.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree (B.S.C.) in financial services or related areas
A master's degree in business administration (M.B.A.) from an internationally recognised university is strongly preferred
Minimum of 10 years of well-rounded marketing and sales experience in positions of increasing responsibility - with a focus on marketing expansion - as well as five years of experience in a leadership role
MUST be currently holding a similar position in a similar currency exchange and money transfer company
