JOB DESCRIPTION OF SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
1.Graduate civil engineer from a premier institute having a minimum of first class percentage in
civil engineering (B. E/ B. Tech - Civil)
2.Should have a minimum of 8/10 years of work experience in hardcore contracting companies of
large size & repute
3.Minimum 4/5 years of last work experience of working in Bahrain with reputed contracting
companies for shell works - RCC & masonry work (gulf countries experience is 2nd
priority)
4.Should be able to depute tasks on a daily basis to the foreman’s & derive the work out of them
5.Daily review of targets vs achieved & fine tuning the plan to achieve the defined objective
6.Submitting MIS reports in defined frequency
7.Able to identify the labors based on performance & assign them specific tasks to ensure
optimum efficiency
8.Review progress & identify costs related to the work performed
9.Able to prepare & submit the bills as per BOQ
10.Follow up with client / pmc to get things organized & checked / approved
11.Troubleshoot day to day issues at his own level
12.Should be technically well versed with the sequencing of work & SOP
13.Should be target oriented & will be completely accountable for the project profitability
14.Should have good command over English, Hindi & local language
15.Well versed in using computer applications like AutoCAD, excel, msp etc.
16.Can read drawings in details & do quantity survey individually on his own
