· With Nebosh Certification
· OSHO certification 18001 - Lead Auditor
· Excellent English Communication
· Should be able to develop policies and procedures for the company.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent fields; B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in similar fields.
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge in Quality Management Systems & ISO9000.
- Excellent knowledge in OHSAS 18001 requirements.
- Certified Lead Auditor / ISO9001:2000.
- NEBOSH Certificate is a plus.
- ISO Certified is a plus.
- Managerial skills.
- Computer Skills (Microsoft office & emails).
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Organized & Time managed.
- Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To develop all aspects of Health and Safety policy and activity and ensure it is implemented consistently across the Group.
- To monitor, evaluate and review existing new and upcoming Health and Safety legislation and ensure the Group has systems & practice in place to meet legal compliance.
- To continually assess the status of Health and Safety across the Group.
- To ensure rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems are in place.
- Reports unlawful activities such as theft or vandalism or trespasses to the Local Authorities for further action.
- To identify employee training needs in relation to Health and Safety and develop management controls to ensure this training needs is continually updated and addressed.
- To manage the Health and Safety department budget and team including identifying personal needs.
- To carry out audits to evaluate the effectiveness of Health and Safety systems and procedures and identify and implement improvements.
- To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
- To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents occurring to staff and investigate accidents/ incidents that result in substantial damage to the property.
- To act as liaison with all related government bodies and regulatory agencies.
- Represent the Group in seminars/meeting related to Health & Safety Management.
- Prepare necessary reports required by the management regarding Health, safety, and management.
