Role, Reporting Structure & Communications
• You will report to your Gallery Manager
• Your role is to create and manage sales of artworks and Gallery One product
• You are to attain and exceed Sale Targets set at the beginning of each year
• You are to create and maintain and effectively manage a customer database
• You must ensure the gallery provides and maintains a high level of customer service to clients
• You must maintain Gallery One brand standards at all times
• You must ensure frequent and effective communication with clients, your management team and your local workshop
• You must ensure you take ownership and delivery of all decisions and commitments you make to clients, colleagues and management
Feedback
• You are to identify and feedback on any training needs through the monthly and annual review process
The Gallery & Presentation
• You must maintain high levels of personal presentation by following our uniform and grooming guidelines
• You must ensure the gallery adheres to merchandising brand standards
• You must ensure that the gallery floor and back of house areas reflect the Gallery One values of tidiness, excellent presentation and pride in our appearance
• You are to ensure you are on time for your scheduled shifts and book days off and holiday with adequate notice using the proper procedures
• You are responsible for the security of the store and must maintain vigilance to theft and damage caused to work by customers
• You are responsible for handling all artworks and stock items with care and for reporting when any such damage has been found or caused
• You are responsible for the management of stock, equipment and consumables and accountable for its whereabouts via checks and audits
• You are to ensure that you maintain a focus of quality in all areas to ensure the highest of standards across the board
• You are to ensure a proficiency in using all POS and IT systems
• You are to identify improvements in working practice, efficiency and systems and discuss these in a solution based manner with your management team
• You are to ensure that the gallery is always well stocked with materials and stationary
• You must ensure all Health & Safety standards are maintained and guidelines are followed
