Our company, an insurance broker with an office in Bahrain, is looking for a General Sales Manager to join an expanding team. We are looking for candidates with a background in insurance to join the team immediately.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Gaining new business by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market
Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients and insurance companies
Introducing new products and promoting them through regular visits and frequent communication with the client
Increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use value added service wherever possible
Monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed sales target, including monitoring the performance of other sales staff
Working with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand
Ensuring credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors' products
Any other jobs as assigned by the Management Team
