Our client is currently looking to fill the role for QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER (Egyptian national) to join their project in Suez, Egypt.
JOB PURPOSE:
To direct the factory’s inspection and testing program, as well as its proactive quality assurance procedures designed to prevent defects or improve performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
• Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Directs, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
• Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality and prepare technical submittals to clients.
• Plan and implementation of QC system for all production process for all incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Organizes, directs and evaluates the performance of assigned staff; establishes performance requirements and personal development targets; regularly monitors performance and provides coaching for performance improvement and development.
• Develops recommendations to improve the quality control system throughout the factory.
• Ensures compliance of unit work to pertinent codes, regulations and guidelines.
• Researches and monitors technical developments in techniques, equipment, supplies and material needed for the quality control department.
• Inspects production operations to ensure conformance with standards and specifications.
• Monitors the testing process of concrete materials and products in accordance to the approved standards.
