Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• We are seeking a Senior-Level Back-End Magento developer. Developer will be responsible for building and customizing large Magento eCommerce solutions.
• Developer should have a strong portfolio showcasing pixel perfect execution of PSD files to a working Magento theme. A clear understanding of responsive web design and examples of these skills implemented on e-commerce web sites.
• Developer can skillfully use all business processes in Magento, such as: Structure of catalog, indexes, promotions, price generation logic Architecture of checkout, payment/shipment methods, sales/order processing Advanced core knowledge, forms/grids full functionality, API, widgets, etc.
• Developer can make design decisions on the code level, including how to parse data files, steps of import, data verification, logging (etc.)
• Our primary tasks for this position will include:
o Implementing responsive themes on fresh Magento CE installations
o Adjusting templates for CMS pages and category pages
o Installing/creating/troubleshooting extensions
o Integrating with 3rd party services and APIs
o Creating payment modules
o Everything else technical on the Magento CE platform
