Job Purpose:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for the direct management and leadership for the assigned sales districts in his area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve annual sales plan for his area.
• Open new markets and contribute in maximizing the company market share in his area.
• Develop new plans to enhance market penetration & distribution.
• Ensure relationship building with current customers and manage an efficient distribution and dealer network to improve sales.
• Execute sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in assigned area through creative promotional strategies to attract more customers.
• Assess new business opportunities in assigned area.
• Improve daily sales execution plan in all accounts.
• Analyze and modify any deviations in sales plan.
• Review sales reports.
• Follow-up on subordinates' targets, monthly progress, performance appraisal.
• Coaching, motivating & retaining team members.
• Handle customers & accounts on credit.
