Our client, a reputable packaging company is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to be based in Casablanca
Overview of the Position:
Purchasing Manager is responsible to drive local purchasing activities for indirect material and services, working together with the cluster Supplier Management team and different stakeholders to ensure supply of high quality material and services at lowest possible price.
The Purchasing manager role is a contributor to the overall cluster Supplier Management strategy, and also responsible for the implementation of the cluster and global category strategy.
Purchasing Manager will be based in Casablanca office reporting to Cluster Supplier Management Director.
Key responsibilities
• Drive sourcing, contracting and purchase to payment activities based on agreed strategy
• Identify cost saving opportunities and develop required plans to achieve them
• Implement global, cluster and local contracts
• Manage local supplier base
• Drive cost and spend follow-up with suppliers
• Drive and measure supplier performance
• Develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders
