Central Operations is responsible, throughout all Middle East markets, for country profitability focusing on loss prevention, audit and customer service, at the same time driving consistent operational efficiency and best practice in all stores via the company standard operating procedures. Acting as a central point of store communication for the business, the team also protects the company's reputation, supports new brand openings and resolves any issues and problems on the ground.
The Role:
The Project Manager for Regional Operations will ensure SOP, Company Policy, Ministry Regulations and operational compliance is adhered to, in all female-staffed stores within their LOA(AOR). You will also be a point of contact to ensure female staff welfare is protected and to resolve any issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Spending a minimum of 4 days per week doing store visits in female staffed stores to ensure that high operational standards are maintained
* Acting as the point of contact for the operators and female staff in the province for all female matters to ensure compliance on female cultural matters, KSA Ministry rules, SOPs and company policies
* Focusing on key KPI's such as Stock Loss, Audit and Service, to eliminate risk to the business while ensuring the reputation of brands and Alshaya is protected. This also means working with brand operators and supporting functions to create action plans to eliminate risk and or losses
* Checking pricing compliance on store visits to ensure KSA ministry regulations are consistently maintained
* Monitoring opening and closing timings to ensure all stores, restaurants and cafes within AOR are opening and closing as per mall hours and prayer times during trading hours
* Monitoring the effective use of MPS (Manpower Planning System) by ensuring all stores use the tool effectively to plan their staff schedules
* Remaining fully mobile and flexible to travel inside and out of the country as an when required to meet the business' requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
You will have/be:
* 5-6 years of project management experience and managing a team of female staff members
* Strong communication skills and be able to set clear direction, motivate, influence and guide stakeholders
* A high degree of self-motivation with a disciplined pro-active approach
* Effective project management, organizational and prioritization skills
* A developed management style with a mature and logical approach to problem solving
* Bilingual candidates only - Arabic and English
* Saudi Nationals Preferred.
