A leading Multi -national global hygiene company is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Leaderto manage Distributors and Sellers . A critical role to the organization. This person will be expected to meet or exceed budgeted sales targets, by managing a defined portfolio of selected Distributors/Markets, and employing internal resources against them in order to become their strategic supplier of choice.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Understand the channel and influence the environment in which the distributor operates.
• Understand the Distributor’s organisation structure competitive position.
• Understand the market segments and end user customers served by the distributor.
• Identify and recruit new distributors to support specific channel activity, if required by the country/region strategy.
• Implement at local level the business plan built by the HQ. Identify opportunities for business development. Understand product/initiatives/programs launch concept and how it can benefit the distributors.
• Build the action plan: DSR presentations, target account lists, product launches, marketing / sales initiatives, capability programs.
• Monitor execution of business plan / business performance at territory level. Manage, Lead and Coach the existing Team to achieve and exceed revenue, volume and profit targets within their given Market Segments.
• Purchases vs sell out, performance of newly launched products, street business, tenders, DSR's motivation, pipeline of new customers.
• Regular reviews - business plan with full internal / external visibility (key contacts) - Quarterly or twice a year as appropriate.
• Understand and clearly communicate, both internally and externally, ownership of customers .for management of specific activities (e.g.: price increase).
• Effective management of account receivables in order to avoid bad debts (liaise with credit control / distributors to ensure compliance with payment terms). Charge back claims.
