Under the direction of the Senior Director Market Access and Government affairs MEA together with the Regional Director for the Middle East, this individual will be an integral part of the External Affairs and Market Access team responsible for supporting disease areas in hematology and oncology and representing Celgene at high-level stakeholder forums.
The ideal candidate will have a strong health economics background within the pharmaceutical industry and an interest in shaping the wider environment for HTA and reimbursement policy development.
They will have some relationships with key HTA bodies and influencers already established within the Middle East.
Leadership and management on Price setting for all assets within the MEA region.
This requires close collaboration with EMEA and Global P&A teams
Strategic development and implementation of a Middle East Market Access Plan across the portfolio in co-operation with the Commercial and Medical teams
Pricing and reimbursement dossier development (Health Technology Appraisal (HTA)) submissions for Celgene products in the Middle East in close cooperation with cross function team members including, Regulatory, Medical and Marketing.
Support the Marketing strategies of Celgene products through an understanding of the critical importance of both national (i.e. Reimbursment; HTA) and local (i.e. Formulary listing) Market Access for business success in the Middle East.
Working with wider MA department support the development of a Market Access advisory network including health economic and clinical opinion leaders, and policy makers in the Middle East
Manage external HTA consultant/agency relations
Represent Celgene, when relevant, at high-level industry forums for the Middle East
Contribute to the agenda and discussions at the company’s EMEA Pricing and Reimbursement forum to ensure alignment with global strategy
Support budget management of department
or rare diseases desirable
