Transpo Group has been awarded a 36-months contract by the government of Abu Dhabi to provide technical support services to manage the Department of Transport's Traffic Management Center activities within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
In line with this project, we are looking for a highly qualified Maintenance Engineer - Intelligent Transport System (ITS) who will be responsible for organizing, planning, assigning, scheduling and supervising the work of maintenance crews involved in the maintenance and repair of traffic signals. Duties include but not limited to:
- Implementing coordination timing plans per engineering standards;
- Installing and maintaining pre-emption devices;
- Inspecting, maintaining and adjusting video detection devices;
- Coordinating, maintaining and repairing RTMS traffic counting station;
- Visiting jobsites to review progress of workmanship and ensuring tasks are accomplished within timeframe and cost limits.
