Description
Manage and lead the Learning and Development function which identifies plans, develops and conducts training and development programs for the imparting of relevant competencies in order to enhance technical and professional development of the employees and support business growth.
Identify the learning and development needs of staff within the company and then design and implement solutions to meet those needs by following the appropriate approval processes, finding suppliers and training materials that support those needs to ensure the technical excellence in all departments at all times.
Design and implement tools to monitor the ongoing quality of learning and development provision, including attendance at courses, and feedback forms from participants to ensure that information is fed back to suppliers and action is taken should quality drop.
Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of Learning and Development practices taking into account 'international best practice' changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in accordance with Professional Development standards and accreditation that are required.
Profile
- 10 years of experience in the field.- Skills in career coaching and guidance.- Knowledge of various training tools and ability to source and evaluate vendors.- Strong knowledge of training, management and leadership development tools and programs.- Ability to drive training needs assessment for the organization.
