To manage a team comprising corporate Senior RMs, RMs, ARMs and support staff in order to deliver team specific profitability and balance sheet targets. The Team Leader will support the development and maintenance of client relationships for the team in a predefined allocated domain by providing strategic direction and operational advice to team members thereby improving team profitability and quality of asset base.

Description
The Executive Manager - Corporate Banking
- Manage a team of corporate officers, with an aggregate portfolio of minimum 30-40 large corporate relationships with commitments in excess of QR 1 billion and contributing at least 15% of corporate banking net income.- Develop, track and re-adjust Team- wise profit and balance sheet plan, synchronize the same into the full corporate targets in coordination with Head of Corporate and other Corporate Teams.- Maintain an understanding of market/economic trends and the effects of socio-economic factors on those trends in order to proactively develop appropriate commercial plans and positions- Particular focus on the segment assigned to the team e.g. contracting, government, large local corporate, foreign corporate etc.- Identify, monitor and mitigate risk across customer portfolio in the team to ensure that the Bank is not exposed to inappropriate levels of risk and financial loss to the Bank is minimised.- Grow the Team asset portfolio and the liability base (including all deposit products) in accordance to the departmental plans and strategy.- Negotiate appropriate pricing in line with bank's business plans, competitor offering etc.- Ensure the corporate clients are offered the best in class products to meet their requirements.- Ensure growth in the corporate portfolio and income by optimising the relationship value through cross selling products and services.- Develop a target list of clients for the team and synchronise it into the Corporate master list. Target and concentrate on attracting new customers in order to increase the bank's profitability, widen the customer base while minimizing risk.- Develop and maintain the bank's most complex key relationships with strategically important existing and potential clients to maximise corporate revenues.- Develop very strong relationships across the client decision making chain, particularly with their senior most management to ensure the bank's position is maintained in the top 2-3 banks.
Profile
Minimum Qualifications:
- University Graduate in business or accounting- Multi-lingual (English/Arabic) preferred
Minimum Experience:
- 10-12 years' experience, of which 2-3 years will be as SRM/Team Leader in bank.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of corporate banking products/ services particularly trade finance, contract finance etc.- Strong people management skills, including mentoring and coaching skills- Advanced credit & structuring skills- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation & opportunity identification skills- Good understanding of international and local laws /regulations & documentation- Qatari corporate banking market knowledge- Medium term work management including budgeting and planning
