Main Responsibilities: - Write and edit news stories and features on various subjects according to the publication’s criteria. - Ensure work is well written and accurate. - Review and evaluate the information provided by the reporters in order to isolate pertinent facts and details. - Determine a story’s emphasis, length and format and organize material accordingly - Check reference materials such as books, news files, public records, etc. to obtain relevant information and facts. - Communicate daily with the editorial team. Competencies: - Minimum 5 years experience in the media industry as editor. - Bachelor degree in Journalism, Business Degree or equivalent. - Familiar with computers. - Fluent in both English and Arabic (French is a plus)
