* Must have knowledge and experience with standard Accounting principles and practices, and a thorough understanding of general ledger accounting and settlement process from the financial institutions perspective.
* Maintains and reconciles accounts and makes correction to journal entries as necessary. Tracks and reports revenue and expenditures.
* Reviews expense and accounting documents for accuracy and appropriate approvals and ensures transactions are charged to the correct account.
* Handles accounts receivable for department including invoice preparation, bank deposits, aging reports, follow up on past due accounts.
* Serve as primary point of contact for relationships with our freight forwarders.
* Resolving import and export related issues
* Obtain freight rates, update routing guides, audit pricing tools
* Responsible in reporting distribution and logistics metrics on a monthly basis including carriers, freight payments companies, and ex-imp volume for contract fulfillment
