Marketing executives are involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote the company and its products and services. It is a varied role that includes planning, advertising, public relations, event organization, sponsorship and research.



Roles of a Marketing Executive:



• communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships through social and printing media;

• sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the campaign;

• managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters, DVDs, and website.

• writing and proofreading copy;

• maintain a good relationship with different media editors and news agents

• liaising with designers and printers;

• organizing photo shoots;

• arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;

• maintaining and updating customer databases;

• organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;

• sourcing and securing sponsorship;
