1. To ensure that all direct reports acquire the competencies for effective performance in their roles, through appropriate training and professional development.
2. Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standard for timeliness and quality.
3. Implement proper Property and Energy underwriting strategy as per the market standards and according to the underwriting policy of Tawuniya.
3. Decrease value of policy when risk is substandard and specify applicable endorsements or apply rating to ensure safe profitable distribution of risks, using reference.
4. Provide technical support to regional offices and marketing and sales team when pursuing new business opportunities by proposing.
5. Conduct portfolio analysis on monthly (budgetary analysis) and quarterly basis and submit the same to manager underwriting management.
