THE ROLE

Reporting to the Residential Deputy Director and PDT Contracts Lead Person, responsible for the development of design and construction contracts, assisting PDT

in overseeing contract administrator, assist PDT and Main Office on procurement issues, providing advice on contractual issues related to design and construction claims, liaise and coordinate contract document development and approval from

Project Managers and assist project close outs.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•Oversee the development of Design and Construction contracts, Work Orders and

variation Orders based on standard templates and specific project requirements.

•Assist PDT and Main Office in negotiations with consultants and contractors.

•Oversee the preparation of Award Recommendation Reports and other submittals

sent to Main Office for approval.

•Provide guidance, advice and oversee the work performed by the Contracts

Administrators.

•Review the performance of the commercial aspects of infrastructure and civil works

projects.

•Interface and coordinate contract administration activities with independent Cost

Consultants and other entities.

•Supervises and provides support to the contracts management team to procure

design and construction services on time and within budget in accordance with

Client procurement procedures.

•Oversee, monitor and report contracts administration performance of Consultants

and Construction Supervisors.

•Provides contractual input in reviewing, defending, negotiation, and responding to

the design and constructions claims.

•Oversee the project close out contractual aspects.
